Michael “Moose” Moore

Michael “Moose” Moore – is the President of The Vigilance Group, and has over 20 years in the United States Air force where he served as a tactical fighter pilot flying F-4 Phantoms and F-15 Eagles. His military service also includes 12 months assigned to the United States Army on the DMZ in South Korea, where he was the commander of a Tactical Air Control Team. Lt Col Moore is also recognized as being one of the few U.S. Air Force officers to have completed the difficult South Korean Army Ranger School.

He retired from active duty as a Lieutenant Colonel in 1992, and has studied at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center specializing in counter terrorism training. His travels abroad include Israel, where Moose completed specific training in terrorist threat detection and Predictive Profiling. He is an avid student of Krav Maga (Israeli self defense) and holds a First Degree Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do. He currently works for a major air carrier as an FAA licensed Airline Transport Pilot.

Moose is one of the few professionals in this country who has focused his military background and other tactical experiences to teach various institutions on Vigilance Awareness Skills and How to Live Safely in a Dangerous World. He has given this hands on training to thousands across the country to include universities, hospitals, secondary school systems and numerous businesses. Lt Colonel Moore holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business from Auburn University and a Masters of System Management from the University of Southern California.
